There were only two games in League two last night, with both encounters ending in 1-1 draws. But the outcomes only tell half the story!

Hosts Morecambe drew level with Portsmouth in the most dramatic of fashion. Gareth Evans gave the away side the lead in the 40th, but this game shall be remembered by home fans as the night when their 33-year-old goalkeeper scored.

Gareth Evans’ opener for Portsmouth was pinned back by ‘keeper Barry Roche’s spectacular injury-time leveller at Morecambe.

With just seconds remaining at the Globe Arena; shot stopper Barry Roche ran to the other side of the pitch to head home Shaun Miller’s 93rd minute corner to halt Morecambe’s three-game losing streak and send the home supporters into raptures.

The points moves the Shrimps up a place into 14th, meanwhile Pompey also climb up to fifth spot.

Meanwhile the other game saw struggling Yeovil picked up another precious point away at Luton in their bid for survival.

The Somerset side took the lead through Liam Walsh, only for Alan Sheehan to level for the hosts. A point for the Glovers lifts them up to 21st, four points above the bottom two. The Hatters stay 16th.
