Leeds United are considering a £3m move for Watford forward Fernando Forestieri.
The Championship side are still eager to bolster their attacking options before the close of the transfer window, despite already drafting in striker Chris Wood from Leicester City for £2.5m earlier this summer.
The 25-year-old, who initially joined the Hornets on loan from Udinese back in 2012, scored five goals in 26 appearances as Watford won promotion to the Premier League last season.
Whites boss Uwe Rosler admits the club are still active in this transfer window, but refused to comment specifically on Leeds’ reported pursuit of the Italy forward.
The German said: “Yes, we want to add to our squad. When it’s on, when we think the price is right, when we think he can suit into what we are doing in terms of wages, age and style of play.”
