Leeds to complete a deal for Congo international

Leeds United have reportedly agreed a deal to sign DR Congo international Jordan Botaka.

It is understood that the Championship outfit are on the verge of announcing the signing of the Excelsior winger on a two-year deal after agreeing a fee with the Dutch club.

The 22-year-old, who has three international caps, scored two goals in 38 appearances in all competitions for the Eredivisie side last season.

Botaka, who is a versatile forward and can play on either wing or up front, could be joined by fellow winger Rajiv van La Parra after Uwe Rosler’s Whites have also been linked with the Wolverhampton Wanderers star before the close of the transfer window on Tuesday.
