Leeds United are reportedly weighing up a move to re-sign former striker Luciano Becchio.

The Championship outfit, who appointed Steve Evans as their new manager last week following the dismissal of Uwe Rosler, are interested in bringing back the Argentine forward to Elland Road.

The 31-year-old, who scored over 85 goals for the Whites between 2008 and 2013, is a free agent after recently leaving Bergano in his native country.

Becchio, who would become Evans’ first signing as Leeds boss, left Elland Road for Norwich City over two-and-a-half years ago, but he failed to score in 16 first-team appearances for the Canaries before being released at the end of last season.
