Leicester City Predicted XI: We predict Brendan Rodgers’ selection as Leicester face a tough clash at home to Sheffield United.

The race for Champions League football is hotting with just three games to go. Leicester City sit on the same number of points as Manchester United and if both win tonight will go just one point behind 3rd placed Chelsea.

The Foxes face off against the Blades tonight who are in fine form themselves, with Brendan Rodgers knowing that anything but a win could cost his side dearly.

Manchester City having their Champions League ban lifted has put extra pressure on the three teams as fifth place will now not be enough to qualify for Europe’s elite competition next year.

With Jamie Vardy & co facing Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United in their last two games, most fans will feel tonight is a must-win game.

So which Leicester players will be tasked with the challenge of keeping their Champions League hopes alive. Here we predict Rodger’s XI…

Goalkeeper: The undroppable Kasper Schmeichel will be in between the sticks tonight, with the Denmark international of the club’s most consistent performers over the last few seasons.

Defenders: Rodgers has used the trusted pair of Johnny Evans and Caglar Soyuncu pretty much all season, but won’t be able to tonight due to the latter’s red card in the crushing defeat to Bournemouth. That means Wes Morgan will come into the Foxes’ defence with James Justin right back and Christian Fuchs left back.

Midfielders: Leicster have options in midfield and Brendan Rodgers is not afraid to tinker with his side. However, Wilfried Ndidi is a definite starter and we expect Youri Tielemans to start in the midfield. We also expect to see Dennis Praet come in for Ayoze Perez.

Forwards: That leaves a pacy front three of Harvey Barnes, Demarai Gray and Jamie Vardy who will be tasked to get amongst the Sheffield United back line and cause them problems. All three players know that Perez and/or Kelechi Iheanacho will be ready to come off the bench if needed.

Predicted XI: Schmeichel, Justin, Evans, Morgan, Fuchs, Ndidi, Tielemans, Praet, Barnes, Gray, Vardy
