Leicester City are set to reignite their interest in Nigeria international Ahmed Musa this summer, according to the Daily Mirror.

The surprise Premier League leaders, who currently sit two points ahead of nearest title rivals Tottenham and Arsenal in second and third respectively, are ready to splash the cash come the end of the 2015-16 campaign after a breathtaking term at the King Power Stadium.

The 23-year-old, who has 54 international caps for his country, has scored an impressive ten goals in 29 appearances in all competitions for CSKA Moscow so far this season.

Musa, who is predominantly a centre forward, was reportedly the subject of interest from Claudio Ranieri’s side during the previous January transfer window.

However the report suggests that the Foxes are set to go back in for the Nigerian hitman with a bid of £20m this summer.

Musa has netted 46 goals in 153 first-team appearances for the Russian Premier Liga outfit since arriving from Dutch club VVV-Venlo back in January 2012.
