Liverpool agree deal for midfielder

Liverpool have agreed a £5.14million deal for Red Star Belgrade midfielder Marko Grujic.

The 19-year-old, who helped Serbia win the Under-20s World Cup in the summer, will stay on loan with Red Star until the end of the season.

Grujic made his professional first-team debut at the age of 17 and has played 22 times for his hometown club in all competitions this term, scoring five times.

The Reds beat off competition from Anderlecht and Stuttgart for the starlet’s signature.
