Liverpool and Arsenal are both reportedly interested in taking Germany international forward Julian Draxler on loan, according to L’Equipe (via the Liverpool Echo).
The Premier League sides, who defeated Southampton and Tottenham Hotspur respectively at the weekend, are both understood to have ‘made contact’ with Paris Saint-Germain in regards to a temporary transfer for the winger.
The 24-year-old, who has 40 international caps for his country, has scored two goals and provided four assists in 15 appearances in all competitions for the Ligue 1 giants so far this season.
Draxler, who arrived at the Parc des Princes back in January following his switch from German side Wolfsburg, has netted 12 times in 40 games overall for Unai Emery’s side.
However, the report suggests both Liverpool and Arsenal want to take the forward on loan during the forthcoming New Year market, after Draxler fell down the pecking order in the French capital following the marquee summer signings of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.
