Premier League title rivals Liverpool and Tottenham will battle it out in January for the signature of Croatian wonderkid Ante Coric, according to reports from Squawka.

As per the report, the attacking midfielder will leave his current club Dinamo Zagreb in the January window and the Premier League duo are both keen.

The Croatia international, who made his debut for the national side in May this year and was part of the squad which travelled to the European Championships in France, reportedly snubbed a £15m move to Man City in the summer having learned that manager Pep Guardiola was to send him on loan.

The Zagreb born youngster has been ever present for the Croatian outfit this season, making 22 appearances in all competitions, bagging four goals and another four assists.

Both Jurgen Klopp and Mauricio Pochettino, who will have top spot in their sights this season after strong starts to their league campaigns, will be keen to add quality in January in order to maintain their respective challenges, so we could be in for a bidding war between the two sides.
