Liverpool are reportedly mulling over a £4m bid for England Under-20 international Ben Chilwell.
The Premier League side, who face Sunderland tonight at the Stadium of Light, are set to make a January move for the highly-rated Leicester City full-back.
The 19-year-old, who came through the Foxes’ youth academy system, has played seven league games whilst on loan at Championship outfit Huddersfield Town so far this season.
Despite yet to make a Premier League appearance for his parent club; Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is determined to use next month’s transfer window as a stepping stone in planning a bright future at Anfield, with the England youth international high on his wish list.
It is understood that Premier League rivals Arsenal had a bid of £3.5m rejected by Claudio Ranieri’s side for Chilwell back in the summer.
