Liverpool expected to make offer for Porto star after Leeds bid

Liverpool are expected to bid for Porto winger Otavio imminently as they look to reunite the player with former teammate Luis Diaz.
As per The Mirror, the Portuguese side are expecting an offer of around £34 million from the Reds, having already rejected a bid of £26 million from Leeds United this week.
The 27-year-old has a release clause of £51 million in his current contract, but it is believed that the Portuguese side would be willing to do business at around £38 million.
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is keen to reunite the player with former teammate Diaz, who made the move from Porto to Anfield in January and impressed during his first six months in English football.
Otavio could be on his way to Liverpool this summer
The German is also having to recruit reinforcements up front following the departures of both Sadio Mane and Divock Origi, the former of whom has signed for Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich.
Last season, Otavio scored five goals and provided 14 assists in 49 games across all competitions, taking his goal tally for the club to 24 in 237 matches.
The player’s agent, Israel Oliveira, is currently in England trying to secure a deal for the Portugal international.
