Liverpool have been reportedly linked with a surprise swoop for Swansea City star Andre Ayew.
Their Premier League rivals, who drew 0-0 at Tottenham on Saturday in Jurgen Klopp’s first game in charge, are understood to have set their sights on the Ghana international ahead of the January transfer window.
The 25-year-old, who only joined the Welsh outfit from Marseille this summer, has scored four goals in eight league appearances for Swansea this season.
Ayew, who has 63 international caps to his name, has impressed in the Premier League since sealing his free transfer to the Liberty Stadium back in June, fuelling speculation that the Reds’ German boss Klopp would like to make the Swans forward his first signing at Anfield in the New Year.
