Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Germany international forward Julian Draxler, according to Transfermarketweb.

The Premier League side, who were thrashed 4-1 by Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday at Wembley Stadium, have been linked with the Paris Saint-Germain winger ahead of the forthcoming January transfer window.

The 24-year-old, who has 38 international caps for his country, has scored one goal and provided two assists in 11 appearances in all competitions for the Ligue 1 giants so far this season.

Draxler, who arrived at the Parc des Princes back in January 2017 following his move from Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg, has netted 11 times in 36 games overall for PSG.

The report suggests Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is weighing up the German star as a potential replacement for Philippe Coutinho, who is still strongly being linked with a move to La Liga leaders FC Barcelona.

However, Premier League rivals Arsenal, as well as the likes of Bayern Munich and Inter Milan, are also said to be monitoring Draxler’s situation in the French capital.
