Liverpool are keeping tabs on Wigan Athletic starlet Joe Gelhardt, according to reports.
The 17-year-old made his first-team debut for the Latics in the EFL Cup in August 2018 and followed that up with a league debut in April this year.
Paul Cook has continued to include the highly-rated attacker this term, bringing him off the bench in the 0-0 Championship draw against Barnsley.
And Goal report that the Anfield club are monitoring Liverpool-born Gelhardt’s progress.
The talented teenager is currently on international duty with England Under-19s after scoring 12 goals in 15 appearances for the Under-17s.
Wolves, Leicester City and Merseyside rivals Everton are also reportedly keeping a close eye on Gelhardt whose Wigan contract runs until 2021.
