Liverpool keen on Serie A starlet

Sassuolo forward Domenico Berardi has been reportedly tipped as one of Jurgen Klopp’s potential first signings as Liverpool manager.

The newly appointed German boss, who watched his Reds draw 1-1 against Southampton in the Premier League on Sunday, is eager to boost his current squad with several signings over the New Year period.

Berardi, 21, has been tipped as one of Klopp’s preferred buys during the forthcoming January transfer window having scored twice in Serie A so far this season.

Sassuolo only bought the full registration right of Berardi from defending league champions Juventus over the summer for £7.2m, although the Italian giants are also reportedly keen on bringing the winger back to the Juventus Stadium already.
