Liverpool are reportedly monitoring Leeds United star Sam Byram.

It is believed that the Premier League outfit sent scouts to Ashton Gate during midweek to watch the 21-year-old winger in the Whites’ 2-2 draw at Bristol City.

Byram, who has been at Elland Road since he was 12-years-old, scored three goals in 39 appearances in all competitions for the Championship side last season.

After making his Leeds debut under former manager Neil Warnock back in 2012, the Thurrock-born ace has been ever present in the Whites’ squad, first starting at right-back before switching to a more offensive role down the wing.

However; this is not the first time Byram has been linked with a move away from Elland Road this summer, with Premier League rivals Sunderland also interested in the youngsters services.
