Liverpool may still be battling at the top of the Premier League to ensure their return to the Champions League next season, however, that cannot stop manager Jurgen Klopp from plotting his summer business.
According to reports from French magazine L’Equipe (via Sport Witness) the Reds have opened talks over a move for an exciting prospect at Paris Saint-Germain.
18-year-old Mahamadou Dembele is one of the higher rated talents in the French champions’ youth ranks, however, with his contract up in the summer, Klopp is looking to pounce.
The reports claim that the defender, who has represented France from U16 level through to U18, has already met with officials from Anfield over a possible move to the Premier League club.
However, with interest from Germany as well as Dembele’s own club looking to land a new deal, Klopp will have to do all he can to get the deal over the line.
