The 29-year-old, who has four international caps for the Three Lions, is the Premier League’s joint top goalscorer this season with 15 goals in 22 appearances for the Foxes.

Vardy, who cost Leicester a reported £1m back in May 2012 from Fleetwood Town, is also said to be interesting defending league champions Chelsea.

With summer speculation mounting, it is understood that Foxes manager Claudio Ranieri is keen on offering star striker Vardy a new contract at the King Power Stadium to double his current £45,000-a-week wages.
