Liverpool are reportedly closing in on the signing of Poland youth international Kamil Grabara.
The Premier League side, who currently sit eighth in the standings following their 2-0 defeat against West Ham United at the weekend, are in discussions to sign the highly-rated Ruch Chorzow goalkeeper during the January transfer window.
The 16-year-old, is believed to be travelling to Merseyside later this week to complete a medical at the Anfield outfit, although he will go straight into the Reds’ Kirkby youth academy ranks.
Grabara, who currently plays for Polish top-flight club Ruch Chorzow, was also attracting interest from Manchester City and Manchester United in the past.
Club president Dariusz Smagorowicz said: “Grabara has been with us for 12 years.
“A few months ago we signed a contract with him to keep him until 2018, and now Liverpool want to have him.”
