Jurgen Klopp is in the market for new players.

Liverpool Predicted XI: We predict Jurgen Klopp’s starting lineup as they host West Ham United in the Premier League.

Like most teams in England this season, Liverpool have taken a real mixed bag of results and performances, which was something they didn’t do last season.

However, since the 7-2 crushing suffered to Aston Villa, the Reds are unbeaten in their last four games winning their last three matches and conceding just one goal in the process.

Klopp was able to make several changes to his starting lineup midweek, as Liverpool beat the less-favoured FC Midtylland in

However, with tough matches against Atalanta and Manchester City to come in the next eight days, Klopp will be desperate for his side to take all three points this afternoon.

So which players will the German boss task with getting a positive result at Anfield?

Here we predict Klopp’s starting XI…

Goalkeeper: First-choice Liverpool goalkeeper made a remarkable comeback from injury when starting against Sheffield United at the weekend. It was first thought that the Brazilian would be out for at least a month, but he worked hard and was out for just a few weeks to provide a huge boost to Klopp and the Liverpool squad. We expect the excellent keeper to start again this afternoon as he works towards full fitness.

Defenders: The big news is that the Reds will have to do without Virgil van Dijk for quite some time after he suffered an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury against Everton due to Jordan Pickford’s questionable challenge. With only five clean sheets kept in their previous 23 matches, things were not exactly rosy defensively, but there’s no question that the Dutchman will be sorely missed. Fabinho will also be missing from today’s game meaning Klopp maybe forced to take a chance on the fitness of Joel Matip alongside Joe Gomez. Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andrew Robertson will almost certainly start at full back.

Midfielders: Jordan Henderson was withdrawn at half time in midweek, but Klopp has stated it was more of a precautionary decision, so we expect the England international to start today’s game. Gini Wijnaldum will also start as Klopp has real trust in the pair to perform well week-in-week-out. However, ex expect Thiago to return to the Liverpool starting XI against the Hammers, where Klopp will hope he can dictate play.

Forwards: Diogo Jota scored again for. Liverpool midweek and has certainly made a claim to start again this afternoon. However, with all three of his usual attacking players rested from the start midweek in the Champions League. That means the famous three of Firmino, Mo Salah and Sadio Mane are likely to terrify the West Ham defence this afternoon.

Predicted XI: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Gomez, Robertson, Wijnaldum, Henderson, Thiago, Salah, Mane, Firmino
