Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge is reportedly a £50million summer target for Paris Saint-Germain, according to the Sun.

The 26-year-old is understood to be considering his future at Anfield, and is now said to be on the shopping list of the Ligue 1 champions, who are expected to lose Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Edinson Cavani at the end of the season.

Sturridge only signed a new five-year deal on Merseyside last year, and although Jurgen Klopp has stated that he doesn’t want to lose the forward, he has also said that he won’t keep any unhappy players at the club.

The England international was visibly unhappy when he was substituted off after 70 minutes against Southampton at St Mary’s on Sunday, with the visitors going on to lose 3-2, despite leading 2-0 at half-time.

The attacker, who has suffered a number of injury problems over the course of the last 18 months, has scored 47 goals in 81 appearances in all competitions since moving to the Reds from Chelsea in 2012.
