This weekend plays host to an exciting encounter as Champions League chasing Liverpool take on the Premier League champions Leicester City at Anfield.

Jurgen Klopp will be looking to build upon a good away point at Tottenham last week as his new side continue to improve in the league.

The Reds have an outstanding forward line which includes the likes of Philippe Coutinho and Sadio Mane, who will no doubt be threats on Saturday, however there has been much publicised over their leaky defence which is an aspect of their game which will need improvement against higher quality opposition.

The recent transfer market was a chance for Liverpool to sell most of their fringe players with particular names such as Joe Allen, Luis Alberto and Mario Balotelli all seeking new opportunities outside of Liverpool.

For many Reds fans, the new acquisition of Joel Matip will be an intriguing one as he looks to adapt to the Premier League and provide much needed stability at the back.

Despite their shock opening day defeat to Hull City, the Foxes seem to have bounced back well, picking up four points from their last two games.

This game can already be seen in some respects as a six-pointer for the top four positions as the result of this match will provide an inclination of what team can mount an assault on the Champions League spaces. It is games like this which will expose if Leicester can recapture any aspect of their remarkable season last year.

Claudio Ranieri can be happy with the recent contract renewal of Danny Simpson, an integral part of their title winning season, as well as the new addition of Algerian striker Islam Slimani from Sporting Lisbon who will look to bring much needed Champions League experience to a side that is new to the prestigious competition.
