Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho is officially the most creative Premier League player so far this season.

An infographic, created by Transfermarkt, shows the central midfielder is the English top-flight’s most effective footballer when it comes to minutes per goal involvement amongst players inside Europe’s top five leagues.

The 24-year-old, who has 21 international caps for Brazil, has impressively scored five goals and provided five assists in his 11 league games so far this season for The Reds.

But despite the former Inter Milan ace statistically being the Premier League’s most creative player during the 2016/17 campaign, he is only tenth on the overall list.

Coutinho is behind the likes of Barcelona’s Lionel Messi, Bayern Munich’s Franck Ribery, Real Madrid’s Alvaro Morata and Roma’s Edin Dzeko.

A surprise second, concerning Premier League players, is Manchester City forward Kelechi Iheanacho, who has netted three goals and recorded three assists in eight games for Pep Guardiola’s men.

Meanwhile third goes to Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez, Romelu Lukaku of Everton is fourth and Chelsea forward Pedro is in fifth.
