Liverpool’s Predicted XI: We predict Jurgen Klopp’s side as they face European-football chasing Burnley in the Premier League

Despite their good form, United have a long way to go to bridge the gap to Jurgen Klopp's side.

Liverpool’s Predicted XI: We predict Jurgen Klopp’s side as they face European-football chasing Burnley in the Premier League.

The Reds won their first ever Premier League title a little two weeks ago and are now on track to break the Premier League points record if they keep winning games.

Manchester City hold the record with the 100 point total they secured last season, but with Liverpool sitting on 92 points with four games remaining they have the chance to go one better.

It won’t be an easy game for the Reds with their opponents Burnley on a good run of form and are chasing European football next season.

So who will Klopp pick to face-off against Sean Dyche’s side? We predict Liverpool’s starting XI here…

GK: Alisson

Mr reliable Alisson will be back between the sicks. Many see him as the best goalkeeper in the Premier League.

RB: Trent Alexander-Arnold

As well all know Klopp does not like to rotate his back four and especially his full backs, we expect to see Trent in the starting line-up.

CB: Dejan Lovren

Despite Gomez being his go to man to partner van Dijk of late, we believe Klopp will hand Lovren some game time against Burnley this afternoon.

CB: Virgil van Dijk

Second in Ballon d’Or, Virgil van Dijk is Liverpool’s undisputed number 1 player is simply undroppable at this stage of the season.

LB: Andrew Robertson

Will start again at left back. The Scotland international’s energy up and down the left side will be vital for Liverpool this afternoon both in attack and defence.

DM: Fabinho

With Jordan Henderson now ruled out for the rest of the season with injury, we expect Fabinho to start to ensure Liverpool have a player with a defensive mindset.

CM: James Milner

Although he hasn’t been a regular starter we expect Klopp to turn to his experience for this encounter. Milner is a leader in the absence of Henderson and an experienced head in this Liverpool side.

CM: Georginio Wijnaldum

Seems to be Klopp’s go-to man in midfield due to his energy and ability to both attack and defend.

FW: Sadio Mane

The Senegal star will be looking to notch his 20th goal of the season in all competitions this evening.

FW: Mo Salah

Hasn’t been the prolific Salah we knew from last season, but he still brings so much to this Liverpool side.

FW: Roberto Firmino

It’s very rare that Klopp rotates his front three and Firmino is so key to the Liverpool attack, seldfesslely playing in his teammates at every opportunity.
