Reece Oxford has reportedly rubbished claims that he is set to sign a new contract with West Ham United, according to the Daily Mail.

The Premier League side, who currently sit 18th in the top-flight standings following four league defeats in their last five outings, are keen to extend the stay of the highly-rated defender, who is thought to be a transfer target for Manchester United, Arsenal and Manchester City.

The 17-year-old, who is an England Under-20 international, has made just two first-team appearances in all competitions for the Hammers so far this season.

Oxford, whose current deal at the London Stadium is due to expire at the end of the next campaign, took to Twitter to seemingly laugh off any claims that he is close to putting pen to paper on fresh terms.

The young centre-half is tipped to become a future Premier League and England international star, with both Manchester outfits and Arsenal understood to be closely monitoring his current situation at West Ham.
