Manchester United will hope to build on their win over Chelsea last time out when they face Brentford on Saturday.
The Red Devils have endured a difficult season so far but recorded their second victory of the campaign on Saturday, defeating Chelsea 2-1 after the Blues had goalkeeper Robert Sanchez sent off in the first five minutes.
Ruben Amorim’s side don’t feature in this week’s Carabao Cup action having been knocked out of the competition at the hands of League Two side Grimsby Town in the last round.
With extra time to prepare for their trip to West London, Amorim will be working hard to attempt to pick up all three points against the Bees.
In the meantime, it has emerged that the Portuguese is keen to keep hold of one of his attackers, despite the player struggling of late.
According to Fabrizio Romano via GiveMeSport, Amorim values forward Joshua Zirkzee as an important player in his squad and is keen to keep hold of the Dutchman.

The report claims that the United boss views Zirkzee to be useful as he can play as a traditional striker, or in a slightly deeper role as a ‘number ten’.
This is despite the Dutch forward having attracted significant interest from clubs in the Italian top flight.
Zirkzee, 24, joined the Red Devils from Italian side Bologna in 2024 but scored just seven times in 49 matches during his debut season in England.
He was heavily linked with a move away from Old Trafford during the recent summer transfer window, with Serie A giants Juventus touted as a possible destination for the Netherlands international.
It is claimed, though, that United boss Amorim prevented the forward from departing Old Trafford as he views the player as having a role to play in his squad.
Serie A champions Napoli are also said to have enquired about the player over the summer, but both Amorim and Zirkzee himself were keen to continue working together.
