Man United manager, Jose Mourinho, made his return to Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon, for the first time since he was sacked by the Blues last season.
The ‘Special One’s’ first venture back to the Bridge, off the back of United’s league draw with Liverpool on Monday, was a crucial one as he looked to finally build a defiant run with his Red Devils side after a mixed start to the season.
However, it was not to be for the Portuguese as a rampant Chelsea side slammed four past a helpless Spanish shot-stopper David de Gea, who was let down by a string of woeful mistakes from his teammates in front of him.
Fans and pundits alike slammed the performances of the visitors, who now sit seventh in the Premier League, six points adrift of rivals and league leaders, Man City.
However, it was not just the performances that let them down, it was the antics of some of those in red after the final whistle that riled them up. David de Gea, Juan Mata, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Anthony Martial were spotted laughing and joking with each other as they walked off the pitch having been spanked 4-0, and it did not go down well…
Ibra Mata Martial De Gea all smiling their heads off while still on the pitch after final whistle . Disrespectful to all the fans I think .
