Manchester United have reportedly joined Tottenham in the hunt to sign West Brom striker Saido Berahino.

The 13-time Premier League champions, who defeated Everton 3-0 at Goodison Park over the weekend, are understood to have shortlisted the England forward onto their transfer wishlist.

The 22-year-old, who graduated through the Baggies’ youth academy, has scored three league goals in seven appearances so far this season for Tony Pulis’ men.

However it was Berahino’s form last term that caught the attention of the big clubs, scoring 20 goals in all competitions last campaign.

After Premier League rivals Spurs tried to snap up the English striker over the summer; Berhaino became unsettled at the Hawthorns and threatened to never play for the club again after failing to force a move away from the Midlands outfit.
