Manchester United’s dismal season will come to an end on Sunday when they host Aston Villa.

The Red Devils currently sit 16th in the Premier League table, having lost 18 of their 37 games in the competition.

Ruben Amorim’s side were also beaten 1-0 by Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League final in Bilbao on Wednesday, meaning they won’t compete in Europe next season.

This summer is likely to be a busy one at Old Trafford, with Amorim and those in charge of the club set to overhaul their struggling squad.

With that in mind, it appears that one of United’s attackers is already looking for a move away from the club.

According to TBR Football, winger Alejandro Garnacho’s representatives have made contact with rivals Arsenal about a possible transfer this summer.

The report claims that the Argentina winger’s representatives have been in touch with the Gunners to confirm the player’s situation.

Garnacho, 20, has endured a frustrating campaign at Old Trafford and the report claims that the player himself has accepted that his future likely lies away from the club.

Spanish side Atletico Madrid and Italian outfit Napoli are both said to be interested in the winger, who has scored 11 goals and provided ten assists in 58 matches across all competitions so far this term.

Garnacho’s contract with United is set to run until the end of the 2027/28 campaign, but the report suggests that he is likely to leave Old Trafford this summer.

It is claimed that United will demand a fee of around £51 million for Garnacho, who has registered a combined 48 goals and assists in 144 games for United since joining the club from Atletico in 2020.

The Argentina winger didn’t start United’s defeat against Spurs in the Europa League final on Wednesday.
