Manchester United will reportedly receive a £23m bid for Spain international goalkeeper David De Gea this summer from Real Madrid, according to the Sunday People.

The 13-time Premier League champions, who defeated Derby County 3-1 in the FA Cup fourth-round on Friday night, fear their number one shot stopper will leave Old Trafford at the end of the current campaign for the La Liga giants.

The 25-year-old, who has only seven international caps for his country, has impressively kept 12 clean sheets in 28 appearances in all competitions for the Red Devils this season.

The report suggests that De Gea, who arrived at United from Atletico Madrid in a deal worth £17.8m back in 2011, is Madrid’s top transfer target this summer as confirmed by the ‘keeper’s agent Jorge Mendes.

Furthermore it adds that the Bernabeu outfit could hand De Gea a whopping £6.5m signing-on fee to apologise for their failed attempts to sign the Spaniard during the previous transfer window.
