Manchester United are reportedly chasing Lazio star Lucas Biglia.
Red Devils manager Louis van Gaal has signalled his intention to strengthen his squad ahead of the close of the summer transfer window, with Argentina ace Biglia now thought to be a top priority.
The 29-year-old, who has 33 international caps, scored four goals in 31 appearances in all competitions for the Serie A outfit last season.
Despite United already recruiting fellow midfielders Bastian Schweinsteiger and Morgan Schneiderlin this summer, Van Gaal is considering a £17.5m swoop for the former Anderlecht ace, who has impressed at the Stadio Olimpico since arriving in 2013.
