Manchester United are reportedly considering a late January move for Argentina international Ever Banega, according to Tribal Football (Via The Sun).

The Premier League giants, who suffered a late 1-0 home defeat to the hands of Southampton on Saturday, have turned to the Sevilla midfielder in a bid to get their push for a top four finish this campaign back on track.

The 27-year-old, who has 38 international caps for his country, has scored six goals in 23 appearances in all competitions for the La Liga outfit this season.

Banega, who won Olympic gold with Argentina during the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, could become the Red Devils’ only addition during the January transfer window should manager Louis van Gaal seek to strengthen his squad with a week remaining.
