Manager Neil Lennon has left Championship strugglers Bolton Wanderers by mutual consent.
The 44-year-old, who was appointed Trotters boss back in October 2014 after signing a four-year deal at the Macron Stadium, leaves the club rock-bottom of the division, 11 points adrift of safety with only nine league games remaining of the 2015-16 domestic season.

The club have announced that academy manager Jimmy Phillips will take charge of the first-team on an interim basis.
Lennon; a former Northern Ireland international, has guided the former Premier League outfit to just four league wins all campaign, whilst also losing five of their last seven league outings, including Saturday’s 2-1 loss to the hands of Preston North End.
“All at Bolton Wanderers would like to thank Neil for his contributions during his time at the club,” reads a brief statement on the club website.
Lennon’s departure comes just five days after the Sports Shield consortium completed its £7.5m takeover of the Championship club.
Ex-Bolton striker Dean Holdsworth, who leads the group, will join the board of directors.
