Manchester City are reportedly considering a £50m offer for England international defender Harry Maguire, according to The Sun.

The Premier League leaders, who comfortably defeated Burnley 4-1 at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday in the third round of the FA Cup, have been linked with a January move for the Leicester City centre-half.

The 24-year-old, who has three international caps for the Three Lions, has scored two goals and provided three assists in 25 appearances in all competitions for The Foxes this season.

Maguire, who arrived at the King Power Stadium back in June following his transfer from Hull City in a deal worth up to £17m, has netted four times in over 50 Premier League games for Hull and Leicester.

The report suggests the England international has been added to City manager Pep Guardiola’s wishlist for a new defender at the Etihad this January, with the club pondering an offer worth £50m for the former Sheffield United graduate.
