Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero ‘not interested’ in Manchester United move

Argentina international striker Sergio Aguero is reportedly set to snub any potential interest from Manchester United this summer, according to the Daily Mail.

The Premier League side, who lost 2-0 at Arsenal at the weekend to fall four points adrift of fourth place in the top-flight standings, have been linked with an audacious move for the Manchester City hitman ahead of the 2017-18 campaign.

The 28-year-old, who has 82 international caps for his country, has scored 18 goals and provided one assist in 23 league appearances so far this season for United’s arch-rivals.

Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero.

Aguero, who arrived at the Etihad Stadium back in July 2011 following his reported £38m switch from La Liga outfit Atletico Madrid, has netted a sensational 167 times in just 250 games in all competitions for The Citizens overall.

However, amid speculation of a future approach from Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho, the report suggests the Argentine would not be interested in ditching City for United.

This is despite Aguero’s future under boss Pep Guardiola still being in doubt heading into the summer following the emergence of fellow forward Gabriel Jesus this term.

Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain have also been linked with the City striker.
