Daley Blind looks like he could be the next victim of manager Jose Mourinho’s sweeping changes at Old Trafford, as he looks to make room for new additions this summer, according to reports from The Sun.
The Netherlands international, who was brought to the Premier League by former manager Louis van Gaal in 2014, could be the man to make way for Mourinho’s top defensive target, Benfica’s Victor Lindelof.
The former Ajax man is under contract in Manchester until 2018, however, as per the report, the club seemingly have no intention of renewing said contract, and will look to cash in on their man this summer.
Since the arrival of the former Chelsea boss at Old Trafford, both Memphis Depay and Morgan Schneiderlin have been axed, sold to Lyon and Everton respectively.
Although Blind hasn’t been exiled quite like the two former United men, according to The Sun, he is running out of time to impress the manager.
