Manchester United considering summer swoop for ex-Arsenal, Chelsea and Portsmouth star

Manchester United have been linked with a summer move for France international Lassana Diarra, according to the printed publication L’Equipe (via the Metro).
The 13-time Premier League champions, who currently sit fifth in the standings following their 1-1 draw at defending title holders Chelsea on Sunday, are exploring the possibility of signing the Marseille midfielder at the end of the current 2015-16 campaign.
The 30-year-old, who has 28 international caps for his country, has scored one goal and provided one assist in 22 appearances in all competitions for the Ligue 1 outfit so far this season.
Diarra, who began his career in his homeland with Le Havre, has been in impressive form at the Stade Velodrome this term, alerting Louis van Gaal’s Red Devils to his services this summer.
The former Arsenal, Chelsea and Portsmouth defensive midfielder, who already has 44 Premier League games under his belt, is also said to be attracting interest from Serie A giants Inter Milan and Juventus.
