Manchester United eyeing a move for Bayer Leverkusen star Leon Bailey as cheaper alternative to Jadon Sancho and Jack Grealish, according to Daily Mail.

Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to add an attacking midfielder to his squad this summer, preferably in the wide position.

Of course, there has been vast speculation surrounding a possible move for Borussia Dortmund’s superstar Sancho, but the deal is by no means a guarantee.

Sancho could prove too expensive for United this summer.

The affects of COVID-19 have put a lot of uncertainty around a big-money move, with the football industry in general taking a huge financial hit.

This has lead Solskjaer and United chief executive Ed Woodward to look into cheaper options, with Leverkusen winger Bailly valued at around the £40million mark.

At just 22-year-old Jamican-born Bailey has provided scintillating performances in the Bundesliga, and could be an exciting prospect for United fans.
