Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is on the brink of the make-or-break Europa League Final against Ajax tomorrow night.
A win against the Dutch side would secure a second major trophy for the campaign as well as Champions League football for next season, effectively marking his maiden term at Old Trafford as a success.
Whilst the former Real Madrid boss prepares his side for the tie in Stockholm, officials at the club are pressing on with summer business in preparation for next season and, according to reports from France Football, have lodged an offer for Monaco star Bernardo Silva.
Furthermore, the French outlet claim that United’s offer for the 22-year-old is so good that it “cannot be refused.”
The Portuguese international has played a key role in winning the Ligue 1 title with the principality side for the first time in 17 years, as well as making the semi-finals of the Champions League.
You would feel, though, that as with much of the Red Devils’ business this summer, the deal could hang on the result of tomorrow night’s final.
