Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Germany international Benjamin Henrichs, according to Sport Bild.

The Premier League side, who comfortably defeated Swansea City 3-1 at the Liberty Stadium on Sunday to move up to sixth spot in the top-flight standings, have been impressed with the Bayer Leverkusen full-back’s performances ahead of the January transfer window.

The 19-year-old, who is a Germany Under-21 international, but has been called up to Joachim Low’s senior side during the current international break, has provided two assists in 14 appearances in all competitions for the Bundesliga outfit so far this season.

Henrichs, who graduated through Leverkusen’s youth ranks, is understood to have caught the attention of Red Devils manager Jose Mourinho having featured against Tottenham twice in this term’s Champions League campaign.

However, the report also adds that the likes of Premier League rivals Manchester City and Chelsea, plus La Liga giants FC Barcelona, are also interested in the German starlet.
