Manchester United are reportedly bracing themselves for interest in as many as 10 players during the upcoming January transfer window, according to Manchester Evening News.

The Premier League side, who host West Ham United at Old Trafford on Wednesday night in the quarter-finals of the EFL Cup, currently sit sixth in the English top-flight table, already 11 points adrift of leaders Chelsea after their opening 13 fixtures.

Manager Jose Mourinho has a squad of 27 first-team players at The Theatre of Dreams, although a number of players have under performed, whilst others have struggled for first-team football and could seek a move away from the club in the new year.

The report suggests that the likes of Memphis Depay, Morgan Schneiderlin, Matteo Darmian, Marcos Rojo, Ashley Young and Sam Johnstone are all expected to receive interest, plus speculation has arisen over Daley Blind, Marouane Fellaini and Anthony Martial’s future.

However, it is understood that the Red Devils are only looking to offload former Germany international Bastian Schweinsteiger, who has failed to feature under Mourinho at all this campaign.
