Manchester United Predicted XI: We predict United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s starting XI, as his side host West Bromwich Albion this evening in the Premier League

United boss Solskjaer is under more pressure than ever before.

Manchester United Predicted XI: We predict United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s starting XI, as his side host West Bromwich Albion this evening in the Premier League.

After a rocky start to the season, United went in to the international break on a high, beating Everton 3-1 at Goodison Park and producing their best performance in the process.

Manager Solskjaer now has the juggling act of managing his squad of players following a tough international break for many of his international players.

United fans will be desperate for all three points at Old Trafford tonight, as they look to climb up the table, with the Red Devils currently down in 14th position.

Their opponents for tonight’s encounter are Slaven Bilic’s West Brom side who are yet to record a Premier League win this season and are currently in the relegation places.

So which players will Solskjaer task with getting United a positive result at home?

Here we predict the Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s starting XI…

Goalkeeper: David de Gea has looked more like his old self this season with Dean Henderson breathing down his neck. The Spaniard will be starting again tonight and will be desperate to keep a clean sheet, with United clear favourites going into tonight’s encounter.

Defenders: Despite a lot of criticism this season, United’s defence performed very well at Goodison Park last time out. However, Solskjaer has some injury issues to contend with. Both Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof are not 100% fit following the international break, but we expect both to start tonight. Aaron Wan-Bissaka is a definite at right back, but Luke Shaw is missing for United, so we expect Brandon Williams to start ahead of summer signing Alex Telles who is not match fit.

Midfielders: After toying with the diamond formation in recent weeks, Solskjaer reverted to a 4-3-3 formation against Everton and enjoyed great success. There was no Paul Pogba in the starting line-up, but we expect the World Cup winner to play tonight ahead of Scott McTominay who endured a long international week. Fred will play alongside Pogba, and United talisman Bruno Fernandes will once again be called upon to make things happen for United.

Forwards: Anthony Martial is a definite starter tonight, and we expect Juan Mata to keep his place following his performance away at Everton. England international Marcus Rashford is a doubt for tonight’s encounter though, following the injury he picked up during England training. With all respect to tonight’s opponents, we feel Solskjaer will rest Rashford and give Edinson Cavani a starting role.

Predicted United XI: De Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Williams, Pogba, Fred, Fernandes, Rashford, Cavani, Martial.
