Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly launched a £26m bid to land Ecuador international Antonio Valencia, according to Futbol Mercado.
The defending Ligue 1 champions, who finished a massive 31 points ahead of joint-runners-up Lyon and AS Monaco in the French top-flight last term, are understood to be interested in luring the Manchester United full-back to the Parc des Princes this summer.
The 30-year-old, who has 84 international caps for his country, provided four assists in 22 appearances in all competitions for the Red Devils last season under former boss Louis van Gaal.
Valencia, who arrived at Old Trafford back in June 2009 following his move from Wigan Athletic in a deal worth around £16m, is wanted by PSG following the sale of fellow right-back Gregory van der Wiel to Turkish outfit Fenerbahce.
The source suggests that Unai Emery’s side have launched a €32m bid for the United man, which works out at about £26m, meaning the Premier League side could make a profit of around £10m should new manager Jose Mourinho choose to offload the Ecuadorian.
