Manchester United are reportedly set to renew their interest in Uruguay international Fernando Muslera this summer, according to AMK (via the Daily Star).

The 13-time Premier League champions, who defeated Everton 1-0 at Old Trafford on Sunday to move up to fifth place in the English top-flight standings, are thought to be weighing up a bid for the Galatasaray goalkeeper once the current 2015-16 campaign has concluded.

The 29-year-old, who has 79 international caps for his country, has kept just six clean sheets in 37 appearances in all competitions for the Turkish giants so far this season.

Muslera, who helped Uruguay finish fourth at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa, could be tempted by a move to Old Trafford this summer following Galatasaray’s ban from European competition next term.

The report(s) suggest that Louis van Gaal’s Red Devils will be willing to spend £15m on the shot stopper, with regular number one David De Gea being pursued by La Liga giants Real Madrid once again.
