It’s a big night on Old Trafford on Wednesday as Jose Mourinho returns with Tottenham Hotspur to take on Manchester United.
The Portuguese boss spent two and a half years at the helm of the Red Devils before he was sacked and replaced by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer 12 months ago.
Two points separate the sides with Spurs sat in fifth and their hosts down in ninth, meaning United know a just a fifth Premier League win this term will them above their visitors.
But what team will Ole pick to face his predecessor? We predict United’s line-up to take on Tottenham….
GK: David de Gea
The Spaniard is the undisputed number 1 and will continue having started every league match this term.
RB: Aaron Wan-Bisska
The £50million summer signing will have to be on his guard as he faces the in-form Son Heung-min.
CB: Victor Lindelof
Has been the man to partner £80million man Harry Maguire this term and will carry on in that role as United look to keep Harry Kane quiet.
CB: Harry Maguire
Not his best game last time out against Aston Villa but is Ole’s key central defender.
LB: Brandon Williams
Has caught the eye in Luke Shaw’s absence and Ole will continue to give him match time despite the England international’s return.
DM: Fred
Has still not lived up to the billing following his £50million arrival from Shakhtar Donetsk in 2018 but is currently a regular.
CM: Scott McTominay
Is expected to return after injury and has been one of United’s better players in a disappointing season.
CM: Andreas Pereira
The continued absence of Paul Pogba means Pereira should continue in midfield having played in 13 of 14 Premier League games so far.
FW: Daniel James
Has impressed since his summer move from Swansea City and will continue to start having played in every single Premier League match so far.
FW: Marcus Rashford
United’s top marksman with 10 goals and four assists in all competitions this term. Ole will be hoping he can add to that against Spurs.
FW: Anthony Martial
Despite having not scored in his last three matches, the talented Frenchman will continue up top as youngster Mason Greenwood is the only viable alternative.
