The 26-year-old, who has 49 international caps for his country, scored a sensational 39 goals and provided 12 assists in just 49 appearances in all competitions for the Bundesliga outfit this season.

Aubameyang; who is also said to be attracting interest from Premier League rivals Arsenal and Manchester City, plus La Liga giants FC Barcelona and Real Madrid, is set to switch clubs this summer according to Gabon’s new national team coach Jorge Costa.

He is quoted as saying, “Aubameyang asked me not to be selected because he is in the process of changing clubs.”
