Manchester United forward Memphis Depay is reportedly ready to discuss a January switch to Everton, according to the Daily Mail.

The Premier League side, who currently sit sixth in the English top-flight table following their most recent 3-1 victory at the Liberty Stadium over Swansea City, could choose to offload the out-of-favour winger in the new year period, most likely on loan.

The 22-year-old, who has 27 international caps and scored twice for the Netherlands in their 3-1 victory over Luxembourg on Sunday, has failed to find the back of the net in seven appearances in all competitions for The Red Devils so far this season.

Depay, who arrived at Old Trafford back in June 2015 following his reported £25m switch from Eredivisie outfit PSV Eindhoven, is understood to be open to discussing a January move to Premier League rivals Everton.

Having failed to start a single league game under manager Jose Mourinho so far this campaign, a temporary loan move to Goodison Park could resurrect Depay’s career at The Theatre of Dreams.
