Manchester United forward Anthony Martial has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Paris Saint-Germain, according to The Sun.

The Premier League side, who advanced into the semi-finals of the EFL Cup on Wednesday night after defeating West Ham United 4-1 at Old Trafford, have regularly dropped the France international from their starting XI ahead of the forthcoming January transfer window.

The 20-year-old, who has 15 international caps for his country, has scored four goals and two assists in 14 appearances in all competitions for the Red Devils so far this season.

Martial, who joined United from fellow Ligue 1 outfit AS Monaco back in September 2015 following his initial £36m move, which could rise to £58m, is wanted by six-time French top-flight champions PSG after struggling to hold down a regular starting spot under manager Jose Mourinho.

The French forward netted 20 goals in all competitions for United during his debut term last campaign.
