Manchester United star Paul Pogba arrived back in the Premier League last season as the world’s most expensive player and, despite a slow start, has well and truly got going back at Old Trafford.
After a protracted saga surrounding his move from Juventus over the summer, the France international has become integral in the run which has seen Jose Mourinho’s side go unbeaten in the league since a 4-0 defeat to Chelsea in October.
It’s not just show in the results which United have got under their belts, but on a personal level as well. The world’s most expensive player has reached a huge Premier League milestone, before any other player.
Pogba is the first player in the English top flight to surpass 1000 passes completed in the opposition half. The data, courtesy of EA SPORTS shows that the former United youngster has completed a whopping 1029 passes in the opposing half.
The United man gets there ahead of a pair of fierce rivals in Liverpool’s Jordan Henderson and Arsenal playmaker, Mesut Ozil.
