Spain international star Marco Asensio is reportedly ready to join Chelsea, if he fails to feature more at Real Madrid, according to Don Balon.

The defending Premier League champions, who hammered West Bromwich Albion 4-0 at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, have been linked with a mega money move for the Madrid forward.

The 21-year-old, who has eight international caps for his country, has scored seven goals and provided two assists in 19 appearances in all competitions for the La Liga giants so far this season.

Asensio, who signed for the Bernabeu outfit back in December 2014 from Spanish rivals Mallorca, has netted 17 times in 57 games for Zinedine Zidane’s side overall.

However, his future at Madrid has been thrown into doubt after growing increasingly frustrated with his first-team chances in the Spanish capital, having started eight league games this term, but none in the UEFA Champions League.

The report suggests Asensio is ready to turn his back on manager Zidane and join Premier League club Chelsea, unless the situation changes.
